1. Does Tzy-No Cottage have a swimming pool?
No. Tzy-No Cottage is intentionally designed without a swimming pool or private pool to preserve a calmer and more restful atmosphere. Instead of a busy poolside environment, we focus on fresh air, garden spaces, private cottages, wide terraces, and the natural beauty of the surrounding rice fields. This concept allows guests to enjoy a more peaceful stay, where comfort, nature, and serenity come together naturally.
2. Can guests cook during their stay?
No. Cooking inside the cottage is not allowed. Tzy-No Cottage is built close to the rice fields, so each cottage is designed to stay comfortable while helping reduce the risk of insects or small animals entering the building. Because of this, the cottages are not designed with cooking ventilation. Cooking inside the cottage may leave strong smells on curtains, sofas, walls, and other interior materials, which are difficult to clean and may affect the comfort of the next guests. For cleanliness and hygiene reasons, organic food waste is also not allowed to be kept inside the cottage. Guests are welcome to enjoy the breakfast service on the terrace.
3. Do children pay to stay?
Yes. Children aged 2 to 10 years old are charged 50% of the extra adult rate, which is Rp 50,000 per child per night. This charge does not include an extra bed. Children are expected to share the existing bed with their parents or family members. If an extra bed is requested for the child, an additional Rp 50,000 per bed per night will apply. Children under 2 years old may stay free of charge when sharing the existing bed with parents.
4. Can guests bring their own electric appliances, such as a rice cooker, electric stove, or hair dryer?
Guests may bring small personal electric appliances with power usage under 200 watts at no additional charge. For appliances above 200 watts, an additional electricity charge may apply, as the room rate has been calculated based on standard electricity usage. Please note that cooking appliances such as rice cookers, electric stoves, or similar equipment may not be used for cooking inside the cottage, in line with our no-cooking policy.
5. Can visitors come to the cottage?
Yes. Visitors are welcome to visit registered guests until 22:00. For the comfort and privacy of all guests, visitors are kindly requested to leave the property no later than 22:00. Visitors who stay overnight will be considered extra guests and will be charged according to the applicable extra guest rate. For adults, the extra guest fee is Rp 100,000 per person per night.
6. How many cars can guests park at Tzy-No Cottage?
Each cottage booking includes parking space for one car. If guests bring a second car for the same cottage, an additional parking fee of Rp 100,000 per car per night will apply. Additional parking space is subject to availability.
7. How far is Tzy-No from Malioboro?
Tzy-No Cottage is around 35-45 minutes from Malioboro, depending on traffic. Our location offers a quieter stay away from the city crowd, while still being reachable from central Yogyakarta.
8. How far is Tzy-No from the Merapi Jeep Lava Tour?
Tzy-No Cottage is approximately 7-12 minutes from the Merapi Jeep Lava Tour area, depending on traffic and the selected jeep basecamp. Our location makes it convenient for guests who would like to explore the Merapi area while staying in a calmer and more comfortable cottage setting.
9. What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in time is from 14:00, and check-out time is no later than 12:00. Guests are kindly requested to follow the check-in and check-out schedule so our team has enough time to prepare the cottage properly for the next guest.
10. Can we request early check-in or late check-out?
Yes. Early check-in and late check-out may be requested, subject to availability. An additional fee of Rp 100,000 per hour applies. Please contact our team in advance so we can check the cottage availability and confirm the request. Sudden requests made on the same day without prior confirmation may not be accepted, as our team needs enough time to prepare the cottage properly for the next guest.

To check availability and confirm the correct rate, please provide: your stay date, number of nights, number of guests, preferred cottage type. After availability is confirmed, our team will issue your booking details and payment instructions. For a 1-night stay, full payment is required to secure the reservation. For a 2-night stay or longer, a 50% down payment is required. Payment must be completed within the given payment time. Reservations without confirmed payment may be automatically released.
